The following is a list of fossil hunting equipment that you might find helpful, if you go to find fossils.  You will need a good pair of hiking boots, a rock hammer, a water bottle, and a good book to identify the fossils you find. You should also carry zip lock bags to store your findings, a first aid kit for scrapes and bruises, and a snake bite kit for those unexpected visitors you run into.  These are my favorites.  Anything you buy off this site, helps to support this educational site.
